Matcha White Chocolate Cookies

Seriously, just trust me on the matcha & white chocolate combo. It's the equivalent of peanut butter & chocolate. Also this makes kind of a small batch so don't be afraid to double it if you're sharing.

7 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tbsp. matcha powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup white chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Sift flour, matcha and baking soda together.
3. Microwave butter until fully melted. Combine butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix.
4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture with spatula. Mix. Add white chocolate chips and fold in.
5. Drop dough in rounded tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper on baking sheets. Leave space between them.
6. Bake about 10 minutes. You may need more or less depending on your oven, so make sure to babysit the last couple minutes. Mine usually take around 12 minutes.
